Access

There is a ramp at the main entrance and at both emergency fire exits to allow wheelchair access.

GP Registrars

The surgery is an accredited training practice for doctors who want to specialise as a GP.  Our GP registrars are fully qualified doctors who have several years of hospital experience. They are attached to the Practice for periods of 6 to 12 months and provide the same range and standard of care as the other doctors in the Practice team. The consultations of GP registrars are sometimes videoed for training purposes. We always ask your permission beforehand and the recording will only take place if you agree to this and provide your written consent.

GP Earnings

All GP Practices are required to declare the mean earnings for GPs working to deliver NHS Services to patients at each practice.

The average pay for GPs working at King Street Surgery in the financial year 15/16 was £56,309 before tax and national insurance. This was for 4 full time GPs, 7 part time GPs and 1 locum GP who worked in the practice for more than 6 months.
